Toylander safety

All our kits come supplied with a bonnet lock and ignition cut off switch to prevent small fingers getting under the bonnet and around the batteries and electrics. Additionally, once the bonnet is opened the ignition circuit is cut so the vehicle cannot be driven. The bonnet lock should be installed before your Toylander is driven by children. All our ready built vehicles have the bonnet lock fitted. It is operated by an allen key bolt. Installation is described in the manuals.

The battery chargers we supply come with an easy connector that allows safe and easy charging of the battery(s). This is in the form of a lead that connects to the battery terminals and can then be passed through the bulkhead into the foot-well to easily connect to the charger. This prevents the need to open the bonnet each time to charge the cars, additionally there is then also no need to use crocodile clips to charge the batteries.
